Warriors sweep Cavs to win back-to-back NBA championships

The superstar forward, 33, finished as an National Basketball Association finals runner-up for the second year in a row and the sixth time in his career as the Cavs were swept by the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. With the Finals MVP award up for grabs, I expect Curry to bounce back from his rough shooting night in Game 3 and lead the Warriors to an easy win to cap off the season. To go with his prodigious point total, he is averaging 10.7 assists and 9 rebounds a game.

Durant scored 20 points while registering a triple-double in the series clincher but his efforts will be remembered mostly for the playoff career-high 43 points he scored in a pivotal Game Three that all but sealed the title. If the series were to end in a sweep, he would need to pull down 13 rebounds and dish out eight assists to pull off the feat.

The Golden State Warriors became the NBA's first back-to-back champion since 2013 as they claimed their third title in four years.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry shoots the ball against Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James in game four of the 2018 NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena. For the entire postseason, James shot 34% on over five attempts per game.

All three championships have come against the Cavaliers, with the series clincher coming in Cleveland for the second time. That series, one where the Warriors led 3-1, changed when they couldn't finish the job while being presented with serious adversity.

It was the 28th consecutive play-off game in which he has scored at least 20 points.

"We just know how to win and we really appreciate what everyone brings to the table every single game" Curry said. "Let's just speak truth", James said before rattling off Golden State's embarrassment of riches. You show up thinking that we're going to show up and win, right? Hood's 15 points gave himself and the Cavaliers new life, creating offense where there was none.

There have been suggestions that Rashford could seek a move this summer in order to get extra minutes and avoid stalling his development as a player.

"She's been working for a year, but those weeks just before Roland Garros was kind of a sprint where she gave everything". She improved to 3-0 against her longtime pal and Fed Cup teammate Keys, including their US Open final last September.

Only pleading from his family could keep LeBron James with Cavaliers
A bounce here, a couple stops there, the Cavs could be leading in these finals and the conversation would be different. According to anyone who can do math, ABC has won the night yet again with the NBA Finals.

The Spurs seemed to have a different role player that would step up every night, and with the Warriors, they have a lot of good players who come off the bench and can get hot at any time.

Curry made two 3s after hitting only one in Game 3.

That depth proved to be too much for a Cleveland team that lacked options after LeBron James. Curry and McGee (yeah, he was a legitimate factor again) boosting Golden State to a 67-52 lead and sending Cleveland scurrying to a timeout.

James reportedly sustained the injury when he punched a blackboard following the Cavs Game 1 meltdown. They were ahead by so much that Cavs superstar LeBron was finally given a much deserved rest, getting taken out of the game with over four minutes left.

Stephen Curry was 3-16 from the field, with only 11 points, a rare performance for this all star.

Stepping back after a dagger 33-feet 3-pointer with less than a minute left in the game, the "assassin" as LeBron James called him, stood there savoring the moment as his teammates screamed in absolute joy.
